فى هذه المقالة نستعرض لحضراتكم انواع المواد المستخدمة فى إطفاء الحرائق وسنشرح كل واحدة منهم :

المواد المستخدمة في اطفاء الحريق بالترتيب:

  • الماء.
  • الرغاوي.
  • المساحيق الكيميائية الجافة.
  • الغازات.
  • أبخرة السوائل المجمدة.

أولاً : الماء

لا زال الماء هو الوسيلة الأكثر فاعلية والأقل تكلفة, حيث من السهل الحصول عليه لمواجهة الحرائق بصفة عامة, وقد تطور استخدام الماء في عمليات الإطفاء في الوقت الراهن.

ويترتب على استخدام الماء بكميات أكثر من المطلوب تخلف كميات منها تؤثر على البضائع وغيرها من الأشياء بالضرر وقد تكون قيمة ما تتلفه يفوق قيمته الخسائر للنيران, لذلك ينبغي أن تتناسب كميات المياه مع حجم الحريق.
ويوجد صور مختلفة لاستخدام الماء للإطفاء فقد يكون اندفاعها على هيئة تيار متماسك أو على هيئة رشاش لقطرات مختلفة الحجم.
 مصادر المياه المكافحة للحريق متعددة, أهمها-

1-  شبكة أنابيب مياه المدينة.

2- المصادر الطبيعية كالبحار والأنهار والترع والبحيرات.

3- صهاريج للمياه مختلفة السعات محولة على عربات أو مقطورات.

4- خزانات للمياه على شكل أحواض أو أبراج علوية.

وللمياه عدة تأثيرات على الحريق أهمها ما يلي-

1-  التأثير بالتبريد.

2- التأثير بالخنق (كتم النيران).

3-  التأثير بالاستحلاب.

4- التأثير بتخفيف التركيز.

ثانياً الرغاوي (الفوم).

ثبت يقينًا أن استعمال مادة الرغوة  (Foam) في الوقت الحاضر ضروري في أعمال مكافحة الحريق باعتبار هذه
المادة أحد أهم مواد الإطفاء وبخاصة في منشآت المشاريع الصناعية وخزانات ومصافي النفط
ومحطات توليد الطاقة حرائق الطائرات  الناتجة
عن تحطمها والمستودعات والهناجر والمباني الكبيرة والعالية.

ثالثاً المساحيق الكيميائية الجافة:

عرفت المساحيق الجافة منذ زمن بعيد كوسيلة للإطفاء. ربما يرجع ذلك إلى سهولة توافرها ورخصها وفاعليتها وزادت البحوث في ذلك وتعددت وتوصلت إلى مساحيق تطفئ حرائق السوائل القابلة للالتهاب وحرائق المعادن والمواد الصلبة السهلة الاشتعال.

وتميزت وعرفت بالبودرة وهناك أنواع عديدة منها على سبيل المثال-

1-  الرمال والتراب وبودرة التلك وملح الطعام.

2- مسحوق بيكربونات الصوديوم.

3- مسحوق بيكربونات البوتاسيوم.

4- المساحيق المتعددة الأغراض.

5-  مسحوق الكلوريد الثلاثي.

6- مسحوق البورون.

رابعاً غاز ثانى اكسيد الكربون:

غاز ثاني أكسيد الكربون هو عامل عديم اللون والرائحة وغير موصل للكهرباء وغير قابل للتآكل أو التدهور.

وهو متوفّر بشكلٍ طبيعي في الغلاف الجوي بنسبة تبلغ حوالي 0.03% من حيث الحجم.

أجهزة إطفاء الحرائق التي تعمل بالغمر الكلي للحرائق سواء السطحية منها أو العميقة من خلال إطلاق الغاز على المساحات المغلقة.

يُستعمل نظام الاستخدام المحلي في المناطق غير المغلقة (المخاطر ثنائية أو ثلاثية الأبعاد).

مناطق تخزين السوائل القابلة للاشتعال

  • كشك الرذاذ
  • المناطق الكهربائية
  • المناطق الكهربائية
  • غرفة المحرك
  • قطع غيار الآلات

نظام الإطفاء بغاز ثاني أكسيد الكربون

يعتبر غاز ثاني أكسيد الكربون CO2,من الغازات الغير موصلة للحرارة إي غير قابل للاشتعال ,وهذا يعني أنه ذات كفاءة عالية في السيطرة على الحرائق ,ويتميز نظام مكافحة الحريق باستخدام غاز ثاني أكسيد الكربون بقدرته على السيطرة على الحريق دون التسبب في إلحاق أي أضرار بالأصول أثناء عملية السيطرة على الحريق ,حيث أنه لا يحتاج إلى تنظيف المكان بعد التمكن من إخماد الحريق .
حيث يعمل هذا النظام من خلال إنتاج كمية من غاز ثاني أكسيد الكربون التي تساهم في خفض مستوى الأكسجين (العنصر المسبب في استمرار الاشتعال ) ,وبالتالي يتم النجاح في إخماد الحريق والسيطرة علية بصورة فعالة ,وهناك أحجام مختلفة من طفايات الحريق التي تعمل بنظام ثاني أكسيد الكربون CO2,ويتم غالبا استشارة المصنعون في هذا المجال ,للتعرف على أحجام طفايات الحريق التي تتناسب معك لحماية ممتلكاتك الخاصة .

ما هي أنواع الحرائق التي يفضل مكافحتها من خلال استخدام نظام مكافحة الحريق بواسطة غاز ثاني أكسيد الكربون CO2؟

يفضل استخدام نظام مكافحة الحريق بواسطة غاز ثاني أكسيد الكربون CO2 لمكافحة الحرائق الواسعة الناجمة عن المواد القابلة للاشتعال, فهو نظام مناسب للتعامل مع الحرائق فئة A,B,C, فعلى سبيل المثال ,الحرائق المنبعثة من مخازن السوائل ,الحرائق الناجمة عن الكهرباء ,وحرائق المستودعات التي تحتوى على محركات .

ما هي مميزات نظام مكافحة الحريق بواسطة غاز ثاني أكسيد الكربون CO2؟

  • نظام فعال للغاية .
    • يمكن استخدامه لمكافحة مجموعة متنوعة من المخاطر .
    • لا يوجد تكاليف للتنظيف بعد إتمام عملية السيطرة على الحريق .
    • يحقق أضرار طفيفة بالممتلكات الخاصة أثناء عمليات السيطرة على الحريق

خامساً أبخرة السوائل المجمدة:

تأتي أبخرة السوائل كوسيلة لإطفاء الحريق في المرتبة الخامسة من حيث الأهمية إذ يعتبر الماء الوسيلة الأساسية ويليه الرغاوي ثم ثاني أكسيد الكربون ثم المسحوق الجاف وأخيراً أبخرة السوائل.

والسوائل التي يمكن استخدام أبخرتها مشتقة جميعها من الهيدروكربونات, لذلك يطلق عليها عائلة الهالوجينات.

وأكثر السوائل التي تستخدم أبخرتها شيوعاً هي-

1-  بروميد الميثيل.

2- رابع كلوريد الكربون.

3- كلوريد بروموميثان.

4-  برومو كلور ثنائي كلورو الميثان.

وقد تشمل وسيلة الإطفاء خليط أو أكثر من نوع واحد من هذه السوائل وهي غير موصلة للتيار الكهربائي فتستخدم لإطفاء حرائق التركيبات والتجهيزات الكهربائية وحرائق السوائل القابلة للالتهابات.
تتميز هذه السوائل بأن لها قدرة عالية في إطفاء الحريق غير أنها سامة, لذا استخدامها مقصور على الأماكن المتوفرة فيها التهوية أو المكشوفة.

وتستخدم في عبوات (أجهزة) على شكل تجهيزات تعمل عند انطلاق الاتزار التلقائي,

 والملاحظ أن أبخرة السوائل مقدرتها في التبريد تكاد تكون محدودة, لذلك فإنها لا تستخدم في إطفاء المواد والأجسام الصلبة التي تعتمد في إطفائها على التبريد.
