والنوعان الأول والثانى للتركيب فى حالة خزان المياه أعلى من مدخل المضخات والنوع الثالث (Turbine) فى حالة خزان المياه أسفل المضخات .
متى تعتبر مضخة الحريق معتمدة UL/FM
يلزم أن تكون كل مكونات المضخة معتمدة بمعنى أدق (المضخة – موتور الكهرباء – ماكينة الديزل – خزان الماكينة الديزل الكوبلنج الرابط بين المضخة ووحده الإدارة – لوحة التحكم فى التشغيل).
ويشترط أعتماد FM فقط أن يتم تجميع كل تلك المكونات المعتمدة فى مصنع الشركة الحاصلة على الأعتماد دون غيرها ويذكر ذلك صراحة فى تقرير الأعتماد – أما أعتماد UL فيمكن تجميع المكونات المعتمدة فى أي مصنع بشرط أن تكون المضخة مخروطة ومعده فى المصنع الأصلي على التصرف والضغط المطلوبين دون غيرهما .

متى تعتبر مضخات الحريق حسب مواصفات NFPA :
يلزم أن تكون كل المكونات معتمدة بالإضافة لأن تكون كل (المحابس ووحده قياس المياه ومحبس تسريب أرتفاع الضغط PRV ووحدات الفليكسبل “فى حالة ضرورة تركيبها” وكذلك المسافات بين المحابس والمضخات ولوازمها) –معتمدة أيضا وأن يتم التركيب حسب ما جاء فى NFPA لكافة الانواع .
للحصول علي اعتمادFM كمثال يتم اتباع الخطوات التاليه :
طلب الجهة المُصنِّعة
ترسل الشركة المصنعة خطابًا، أو فاكسًا، أو بريدًا إلكترونيًا إلى FM Approvals، تطلب اعتماد منتج أو تجميع وتذكر الموقع، ونطاق العمل، وأرقام النموذج، والمواصفات ونشرات ترويج المبيعات المعمول بها. ينبغي أن يملأ العملاء الراغبون في اعتماد منتجات جديدة نموذج طلب عرض الأسعار.
إصدار الاقتراح وترخيص الجهة المُصنعة
ترسل FM Approvals رسالة اقتراح إلى العميل تتضمن مجال العمل، وتقديرات التكاليف، والجدول، والاختبارات والعينات المطلوبة. بالنسبة للعملاء الجدد، يتم إرسال اتفاقية تعاقدية تُبرم مرة واحدة فقط بالبريد للتوقيع عليها (اتفاقية نموذجية). تقوم الجهة المُصنعة في ما بعد بترخيص الاقتراح كتابيًا وإرسال كافة المواد والمعلومات المطلوبة والمحددة في رسالة الاقتراح.
المراجعة والاختبار والمتابعة الأولى
تضع FM Approvals الرسومات أو المواصفات لمقارنة المنتجات. وفي حال الحصول على جميع العناصر اللازمة، يتم وضع جدول زمني للاختبار ويتم إجراؤه. يزور المحقق منشأة العميل (إذا كانت هذه أول مرة للعميل أو كان موقع التصنيع جديدًا) لمراجعة إجراءات الرقابة على الجودة قبل اعتماد FM Approvals للمنتج.
إنشاء التقرير والاعتماد بعلامة FM APPROVED والتسجيل
في حالة إتمام الاختبارات بنجاح، يتم إعداد تقرير ومراجعته للتحقق من الجودة، والدقة الفنية. يتم الاحتفاظ بالعينات وأرشفتها كما يلزم، أو إرجاعها للعميل أو التخلص منها حسب تعليمات هذا الأخير. ثم ترسل FM Approvals التقرير النهائي إلى الجهة المُصنعة. ويسري الاعتماد من تاريخ إرسال التقرير. يمكن للجهة المُصنعة في ما بعد وضع ملصق على المنتج يشير إلى اعتماده من قبل شركة FM ، ويتم إدراج المنتج في دليل الاعتماد ، وهو مصدر إلكتروني للمنتجات والخدمات المعتمدة من قِبل FM.
